ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Nicole. I’ve been cutting and colouring hair in Melbourne for many years. I love it. I feel grateful to work from my private studio in the Nicholas Building, one of my favourite buildings in Melbourne. I see it as your space just as much as it is mine, and I love the  feel we have created together. I often have new clients say it feels like they’ve been spoiled while hanging out at a friend’s place, which I love. 

I choose to use COLOR.ME by Kevin Murphy for many reasons, I truly believe it is the best professional hair colour on the market. The incredible results it gives, whilst being ammonia free, and leaves the hair in incredible condition. I use Evo Staino for my vivids, and use and recommend K18 rebonding system. 

I’m often asked about my style of work, and if I prefer cutting or colour. They both complement each other so much, and I love that I can use them together  or seperate to collaborate with clients to create a look that suits their lifestyle, maintenance level, and makes them feel good. I see  hair as a piece of clothing you have to wear for quite some time, so it's important to me it fits and makes you feel good.

Most of my haircuts tend to be able to be styled quickly, or air dried. I love texture, short haircuts, and am really into cutting/boosting curly hair. However, I also love the precision of a “spirit level bob”, and long hair. My pricing structure is time rather than gender based. 

I am welcoming new clients, so please book an appointment or consultation if you fancy a change. I don’t answer my salon phone, as I work one on one, but I happily schedule in person, zoom and call consults if you prefer this method of communication.
